A closer look at Cabopino.
Marbella’s official tourism information lists Cabopino among the municipality’s marinas. The boats, harbour-front setting and nearby sandy coast create a recognisable centre, while the dunes and Torre Ladrones offer a contrasting landscape a little further along the shore.
For buyers, the useful distinction is between a harbour-facing home, a beach-area property and a home further inland. Each can offer a different combination of outlook, outdoor space and access. A Cabopino label alone does not establish a sea view or a walkable route to the port.

When viewing a property.
- View harbour-facing balconies and interiors at different times to judge activity, privacy and how you would use the space.
- Confirm whether parking is included and how you reach it from the property.
- Compare the view from the principal living areas with photographs taken from terrace corners or upper solariums.
Your local questions.
Is Cabopino part of Marbella or Mijas?
Cabopino’s marina and the Artola dunes are in Marbella municipality. Nearby Calahonda belongs to Mijas, so the names should not be used interchangeably.
Should I prioritise a marina view or extra outdoor space?
That depends on how you will live in the home. We can compare actual layouts, outlooks and access so the shortlist reflects your priorities.
